Beneath My Heart

A Song from Jonathan {and Happy Birthday, Dad!}

jonathan's journey· Uncategorized

4 Sep

I just wanted to take a minute to say Happy 70th Birthday to my precious Dad!

We are headed to his house to celebrate this special day with him.

I am so grateful that God gave me him for a dad.  My childhood memories are filled with so much love, security, and fun because of my dad!

Thank you, Dad, for loving me so BIG!

I also wanted to share with you a song that my son sang in church a few weeks past.

Jonathan singing “Starry Night” from Beneath My Heart on Vimeo.

I pray you have a blessed Sunday!

xoxo

Traci

What a wonderful thing to see your children rise up and sing the praises of our God and King. Jonathan did a wonderful job (I found myself harmonizing with him on the chorus). Enjoy your day with your father.

Dad’s are wonderful. My daddy has passed away, but he will always remain my knight in shining armour. When my husband married me, one of the things that he said that drew him to me was my love for my daddy. The Lord blessed me with a wonderful man that would always believe in me and never leave.

Your son did a great job. It is so important for our children to be involved in the worshipping our Lord in song. This way when he gets older, he will have no problem being before others and letting his talen shine. You are so blessed.

Whoops, I was so bowled over by Jonathans performance that I forgot to wish your Dad a Happy Birthday! He certainly does not look like he is 70 years old. I am so glad that he has found true happiness in his life. Wonderful picture of you and your Dad…one you will treasure forever. Linda S. in NE

I enjoyed you son’s song. My eldest is 37 today (I can’t believe I am old enough to have a 37 years old). Enjoy your family and Happy Birthday to your Dad!

Wow, Traci you have a son to be proud of. God has given him a special talent! He has a great voice!
I am sure you are proud of all your sons. They look like a great bunch of boys. When I see a family working together AND having fun, that is usually a family with a LOT of love!!!
I love reading your blog, the love you have for the Lord, your husband, sons and extended family just shines thru!
I am so glad that you know Jesus as Savior, to help you throught the “rough” times. He is the only one that we can lean on!

Oh, my goodness! One of the sweetest things I have seen in awhile–a precious child with a beautiful voice. He appears so confident yet humble at the same time. Jonathon is great model for his younger brothers and his peers. Traci, you and you family are an inspiration to me and mine as we “strive to create beauty in our hearts and home.” Thank you for sharing!
