Favorite “PINS” Friday!

Whew!  This week has flown by!

The boys start school next week, so we will be getting back into “school” mode soon.  Getting up early that first week should prove to be interesting. Smile

Anyway, here are my 12 favorite PINS from Pinterest this week…

I love the thought of this first pin for our boys’ bathroom.  I don’t know if I would get wash stands just like those for sinks, but I love how they created a shelf above the sinks to sit stuff on.

This is a beautiful entry way.  The stripes may be a little too bold for my taste, but I could definitely do a lighter paint color.  The simplicity of the bench and green chest is perfect!

I love the lanterns and the built in shelving in this picture.  I also love the bench.  I am wanting a bench at our kitchen table.

I guess getting to decorate a little girl’s room for the first time last week has gotten me all smitten with all things girly!

I LOVE the buffalo check window treatments, and the pink shade gives a great shot of color on the windows.  This picture is from the same room as the one above.

Check out those exposed wood beams on the ceiling!  Love them!  Can’t wait to show you the beams we have installed in our master bathroom next week.  I also love the wicker chair in this picture.

Okay, can you tell I love lanterns?  There is just something so warm and cozy about them.  And I love how the black lanterns add contrast to a neutral décor.  Aren’t those front seats unique and fun?

This next picture comes from a beautiful farmhouse.  I am in love with this picture.  I love almost everything about it.  It looks beautiful and put together, but also looks like you could kick your shoes off with the fam and get comfortable!

I read this next pin several times.  Do you feel like you are rushing through life as much as I do?  I don’t want to live a “rushed” life.  It is my goal this year to slow things down and live in each moment.

Okay, I just had to add a fall picture.  Smile  It’s right around the corner, and I cannot wait!!!  This picture is gorgeous!  Don’t you love it?

Speaking of fall, I am thinking I am going to have to make this pumpkin bread.  YUM!  (And I am going to have to get me some of those cute baking dishes too!)

Guess where these earrings are from?

My sister’s Etsy shop, Grace and Beauty Jewelry!

Yep.  My sister has started making jewelry, and she loves it!

And the best part is that 10% of the profits goes to her favorite mission that she is very passionate about, Refuge for Women.

If you’d like to read more about the Refuge for Women, you can visit their website here. You can also check out all of the other jewelry she has for sale in her etsy shop here.

  1. i absolutely love lanterns too & i’m trying to convince hubby to let me put one in the laundry room! that little quote at the end is great & i must remind myself to slow down a bit as the new school year begins!

  2. All I can say is mmmm pumpkin bread. I have a small stockpile of canned pumpkin (it’s good for doggie tummy trouble) so I think I need to make this.

Also, if your sister is serious, she should start looking around at craft fairs and shows now. They’re booking up fast especially jewelry booths. :)

  3. All were beautiful as usual, but I particularly like the girls bedroom. I still think you could rock some beams in your family room if there’s nothing above it. Just rip out the ceiling! I LOVE the washstand sinks; it’s one of the most unique things I’ve seen in a long time. can we say charming…and no fighting over who’s next. I epecially love how they incorporated what looks to be porcelain enamel washbowls.
Lastly, when I say those earrings I thought, “They look more like her sister”. She definitely has a style going on.
    Great pins this week.

  4. Thank you so very much for including my Fall mantel from last year, Traci … truly flattered! I love all of your other pins, especially, the dining area with the oversized lantern over the table … am currently on the hunt for one myself. Thanks again!

  5. Loove your pins… all of them! Hope your boy’s first week of school is smooth! I pinned that same recipe … looks delicious! U can find those little baking dishes at Michaels…. (but now that I say it, not sure if they’re oven safe–opps!) I have LOVED your habitat posts Traci… such a blessing! love your blog!

  6. I also like your pin with the stripes- I agree that the color is to dark. I found a pin that was
similar with light blue stripes. May have to give this a try. love your pins of the week!
