Encouragement For You {From You!}

Last weekend, I wrote a post about The Unexpected news I had received, and how “the unexpected” can change our view on our day to day activities.

I was so blessed by all of your sweet comments.  I love how so many of you {whom I have never met in real life} called me “friend.”  It was evidence that this blog world makes friends out of strangers.

Your sweet words of encouragement also showed that this world is full of wonderful people!  Don’t we often forget that?

I looked up the definition of encourage and found this:

1.  to inspire (someone) with courage or confidence.

Your comments definitely filled my heart with courage to face my unexpected news.

Thank you!

But I didn’t want to just keep all of that encouragement to myself!  I know that we are all going through situations in our lives, big or small, that we could use some encouragement in.

So I took some of your comments and made them into pictures to share with all my readers.

I pray that you will find encouragement in them too!

  1. Thinking of you today sweet girl. Love you and thanks for sharing God’s incredible love…as always…just when I needed to hear Him.

  2. Thanks so much for sharing Traci. I am going into the cardiologist early tomorrow morning to have some tests run and it really helped to read these passages. I don’t know exactly what you are going through right now but know that you are in my prayers daily :)

  3. Isn’t just like you to be thinking of others while going thru your own crisis…. My husband had total knee replacement 3 weeks ago today…. at 78 he has many other health issues that are making this a very difficult recovery….. but my heart is lifted by sharing my concerns and worries and co-mingling them with all our prayers together to be delivered to the Lord for consideration. May God hold you ever so gently in the palms of His hands, Traci….

  4. These are awesome! I love these simple reminders of God’s ability to take every circumstance and make it conform to His purpose.
Thanks so much for sharing your heart!

  5. I don’t know what you are going through but put into God’s hands and he will see you through it on His terms. We are sending our love and prayers.

  6. Traci, you don’t know how often, you have just the Bible verse that I am needing to hear that day! We are also going through some trials and I know that the Lord is speaking to me through you!
May you also feel Him near as you go through this trial.
By Grace sing a song “When the mountain is big, bigger is our God. He sees the greater picture from the start. The crisis is our platform, where His grace is perfected. When the mountain is big, bigger is our God!”

  7. I had JUST written a note on your fb wall and came to check my e-mail and there you were. Uplifting verses and thoughts….thank you. God is good….I have a very good friend….really going through the fires and the floods right now. My heart hurts for her…..sometimes you wish you could carry some of the burden on your shoulders, but we can walk alongside and pray, pray, pray. What a privilege the Lord has given us as Christian friends. You encourage many, Traci. Hugs to you.

    1. Thank you, Jane. Praying that your friend feels HIS presence during her trials. And may He bring her through them stronger.

Thank you for blogs to give me uplifting Godly messages and reminders from your Word. Please be with Traci and her family this week. Work this out. Work mine out. Heal me. Heal me of my brain injury as life grows harder. Thank you I csn still praise you Lord. Amen
    Traci, blessings~ Gwen

  9. Deuteronomy 31:8 has been my life verse for over 40 years and I quote it often to myself – just as true today as when it was written! What a blessing the Word of God is in every circumstance of life. Praying for you and whatever is happening in your world!
