**Be sure to check out the end of the post to see how you can enter the $500 Stitch Fix giveaway!

I know you guys have been anxiously awaiting the second half of my Stitch Fix Vacay post, right?

Pins and needles, no?

Well, if you missed my first post about my trip to San Francisco with my Sister to visit Stitch Fix, you can view it HERE.  We were on the trip with Cheryl, from Tidy Mom, and her beautiful daughter, Allison.  We had so much fun together!!

The first day of the trip, we visited the Stitch Fix headquarters.

Day two, we visited the “Hizzy.”  That is what the Stitch Fix employees affectionately call the warehouse.

We were absolutely giddy to be in a warehouse full of clothes and accessories!

I was so impressed with the whole process of how they pack your personal fix.

1.  There are rows and rows of clothing and accessories shipped to the Hizzy.

2.  Each item of clothing is carefully inspected.

3.   They go through the rows of clothes to find the items for your fix.

4.  After they find the five items for you fix, they are checked AGAIN to make sure they are the correct pieces and that they are in perfect condition.

5.  The pieces in your fix are carefully wrapped to create the special “experience” of opening your fix when it arrives to your home.

6.  Your fix is packaged, taped, and mailed to your home!

I had so much fun packing my fix for Jodi.  I hope she liked it. Smile

Here’s a fun video of us packing our boxes, and you can catch glimpses of their special employees at the Hizzy.

I was so taken back by how happy they all were to be working there.  Their enthusiasm was contagious!

  1. I’ve been getting a monthly fix since August and love it. I teach and like to look nice for work but don’t like to shop. Stitch Fix is perfect for me.

  2. I haven’t heard of this before. What a cool idea, you have your own personal shopper.

  3. I have friends who have just started using the company and they love it. I would love to try it out!

  4. I received 1 stitch Fix box and loved the selections. However, being petite, the clothes overwhelmed me. I’m hoping they begin offering more petite sizes.

  5. I haven’t used it before (not yet!) but I simply love that someone else does the shopping for you…I hate shopping but love looking put together. This is so perfect!

  6. I love how you get a professional’s input into what would look good on you. I have a hard time seeing past my comfort colors (can you say black?) and trying new things. Sometimes all it takes is someone else to find something that will look and feel great on you!

  7. This looks like such a great idea. I would love to try it for myself! Maybe get me out of my “same old thing” rut!

  8. Although I haven’t tried stitch fix yet it sounds like a great option for a busy mom with a new baby like me!

  9. It sounds so fun to open the box of goodies chosen just for you! Everything I’ve seen on here looks like great quality, too.

  10. I’ve been doing Stitch Fix for a year and a half or so now and I just love it! I think the anticipation of what’s going to be in that box each month is just about the best part. And I’ve acquired so many great wardrobe pieces I’m not sure I ever would have picked and tried on for myself. So much fun!

  11. I have not had the opportunity to use Stitch Fix before, but I would love to try clothing items chosen by someone else. Such a fun business concept!

  12. I’ve been going from pregnant to breastfeeding to pregnant to breastfeeding for the last few years and my weight has fluctuated a good 40 pounds within each year. Because of this, my closet is so weird – sort of like my kid’s where all of the clothes in a certain size go with a certain season. Right now it’s warming up and I only have a handful of summer items that fit me at this moment (and they probably won’t fit me anymore by the time August rolls around).

I love to shop but I have a one year old and a two year old, and while they are great shoppers, maneuvering a double stroller through aisles and into dressing rooms is not fun. I love the idea of a subscription box that comes to me with my current size and season-appropriate clothes! What a great idea!

  13. i think it is a totally smart innovation and it would be cool to see what comes in each box – it would be like christmas!

  14. I am not very good at putting clothes together, so having someone else do it would be nice. Unfortunately, for many personal reasons I have been unable to try this out, but hope soon too. I have a sister who loves to shop and buy so I will let her know about Stitch Fix.

  15. I love the concept of having cute clothes sent to me instead of dragging myself around the shops.

  16. Although I have not personally tried stitchfix yet, my daughter has and she loves getting pieces that she would not have necessarily picked out for herself.

  17. I love having my own personal consultant picking pieces out for me that I would of never picked for myself :) She’s keeping me Styling!

  18. I like all the double checking to be sure it’s right and the extra special packaging.

  19. I have not used it before but always enjoy seeing what you and Cyndi end up picking -it’s like having your own personal shopper

  20. I love the excitement and surprise of opening your box! I just wish the clothes were less expensive.

  21. LOVE Stitch Fix! I first learned about it from your blog and I am hooked. I look forward to my fixes whenever I can afford them. It is SO fun to see what they pick out for me!

  22. I’ve never used them but I like the idea of getting to try on the clothes at home (I hate dressing rooms).

  23. I don’t have much style am not a good shopper when it comes to clothes! Would love this.

  24. What I love the most about StitchFix is that they pick a few items with each Fix, that I might not have chosen for myself in the store – and I put them on and they look great!! It’s having fresh eyes shop for you instead of always grabbing your go-to color or style.

  25. I think I’ve had 4 or 5 fixes so far and have loved every one! Having them tailor the items to my specific needs and style is the best!

  26. I haven’t tried it yet, but have considered it when I’ve read bloggers rave about it. I would love that it comes right to my home without me having to go out to find them

  27. What I like best are the beautiful clothes and the special presentation. I love packages in the mail, as well.!

  28. Perhaps if I win this giftcard I’ll just bite the bullet and give it a try. I Love the trendy but modest clothes they offer! Loved your post on your box you got from Stitch Fix! Everything looked adorable on you!!

  29. I have lost my fashion sense. I am glad that someone else picks and packages the outfits for me!

  30. Great chance to obtain more unique clothing items & have a personal shopper pick them for me!

  31. I haven’t used their services, yet, but I can see it being very useful. I live in a small town and have to do most of my shopping online. It would be great to have the selections already chosen for me.

  32. What’s not to like about getting new clothes except the fact that someone selects them especially for you!

  33. I love that I get things I might not otherwise pick for myself. Wish I could afford to do it every month!

  34. I love that it introduces me to new clothing and makes it easy to match stuff up with what I already own.

  35. I love that you can get have the honest input of another person as to what would look good on you. Like shopping with a real friend.

  36. Love the casual, free-flowing look of your clothes and the items that mix and match. Also, shopping at home is special when you live in a small town without much to offer!

  37. I like the fact that the clothes are unique to what else other people will be wearing. You won’t see your duplicate walking down the street!

  38. I am anxouisly awaiting my first delivery and can’t wait to see what they have picked for me!!

  39. I like that the items are hand picked based on the style you pick! It is very convenient.

  40. I don’t like shopping – turning hanger after hanger looking for the perfect piece (that I never seem to find). This seems like the answer to that dilemma. Can’t wait to try it!

  41. I loved my first stitch-fix! What I was most excited about was someone else choosing my outfit! Sometimes we get in a rut and choose clothing that all looks alike or the same color combo. My box was so much fun! And, they totally got my “style!” I can’t wait for the next one at the end of the month! My daughter told me about it and we both love seeing what someone else chose for us!

  42. Since they do not have my size I would wish this for my daughter-in-law. She just started a new job and needs clothes. Thanks for sharing.

    God bless

  43. Why would i like Stitch Fix? To have someone to take my body type along with what i like in clothing and Help Me….would Be Totally Awesome!!!! I’m 62 yrs young, grandma to eight, mother to 2 wonderful daughters and believe me, I’m refusing to look old and tired. Love your blog, along with Cyndi’s. God bless.

  44. I like that they claim to hand pick your items, even ask for your pinterest style board. I signed up a couple years ago, but due to finances have not actually done it yet… I LOVE the idea, and would adore the chance to actually participate. ;)

  45. I like the surprise package delivered to my door each month. I may have to start my subscription back for the summer.

  46. I love that stitch fix gives busy women the chance to be stylish without having to go out shopping!

  47. I have signed up, but just haven’t taken the plunge to start. I love the thought of somebody else picking my clothes! I think it would help me get out of my rut!

  48. I live in a small town with very limited shopping. Stich Fix would be a great way to try new clothes on.

  49. I like that I get some say, but I get surprised and taken out of my comfort zone a little at a time!

  50. The best thing about Stitch Fix is having clothes shipped to your door without having to spend time going shopping.

I signed up for Stitch Fix the very first time you wrote about it, but I haven’t been able to participate yet.

  51. As the only female in a house full of boys, shopping trips are few & far between. Stitch Fix would solve this!! ;)

Would love to get some much needed help from Stiitch Fix!!

  55. OH I LOVE stitch fix. I’m about to get my second fix from them (my bday present to myself) I live in AZ so I really feel like my stylist picked out clothes I could actually wear here according to the weather! Love it!

  56. Oh boy this couldn’t be a better fix for me. Ms. no clue how to put clothes together and make a decent outfit. I buy when I have to and then I have NO clue what I am doing. This is Amazing and Thank You for this opportunity!

  57. I like that Stitch Fix gives you clothes that I never would’ve given a second glance at a store. It’s taken me out of my comfort zone.

  58. I would love to try it. I am not very good at picking out clothes for myself. I tend to pick solids and very few patterns.

  59. I am so happy to see employees that are excited about their job. It must be a great place to work. You know work should be fun and treated as a blessing because a big chunk of our waking hours are spent at our jobs. Having someone with style knowledge to shop for me would truly be a blessing. Thanks for the chance of winning a gift card!!! With love, Carlie (entered my email here because my tablet was acting strange) Thanks again!!!

  60. My favorite part iabout stitch fix is that it’s like your best friend went shopping for you and sent you a happy surprise gift of 5 items that you’re sure to love!

  61. I’m a “home body” and don’t get out lot and don’t really like trying on clothes, Thi would b perfect for me.

  62. I haven’t tried stitch fix cause I’m afraid I’ll like everything they send each month and go broke! But would love to try new styles!

  63. I am a mom to two boys. My oldest is 2 and my baby is 2 months. I am also a first grade teacher. Juggling work, the boys and the house is hard enough I can’t imagine shopping for me! I love how Stitch Fix provides clothes based on my personality right to my door! I would love some fresh clothes as I venture back to work after maternity leave! :-)

  64. I am impressed with the number of clothing and accessory choice that Stitch Fix offers and the personal attention that they give to each order.

  65. Would love some guidance on dressing my pear-shaped body! Could so use the morale boost!

  66. I keep hearing about stitch fix and love the looks I have seen. I just might have to give them a try !

  67. I would love to win a gift card to Stitch Fix! I have friends who use the service and love it. As busy moms, shopping for ourselves sometimes gets pushed to the back burner. For anyone dreaming of having their very own personal shopper, Stitch Fix is the way to go!

  68. I need this!!! Some people have the gift of fashion, I don’t. It would be so helpful for someone to tell me what does or doesn’t look good on me.

  69. I need this. I have an eye for good fashion for other people, but when I buy for myself I tend to fall apart thinking nothing will “work” for me and then regretting I didnt buy an item.
It would be great to have some help!

  70. I love the idea of someone shopping just for me! and not having to brave the traffic or crowds at the mall.

  71. I just moved recently and have been spending every single weekend on home DIY projects. There’s no time, patience, or energy left for shopping, but my wardrobe for work could really use some TLC.

  72. I personally don’t have Stitch Fix, not that I wouldn’t LOVE it, just not in the “paying-off-student-loans-budget” right now. I love how easy they make it to look good!

  73. I love that Stitch Fix personally picks things out for me, which encourages me to try something new and different. Thanks for the great giveaway!

  74. I love the surprise of receiving a Fix. That you never know what is going to be in the box and that most often the things in there are nothing you would choose for yourself but wind up being beyond perfect.

  75. I can’t wait to try this. I think I will save up so that I can take advantage of someone picking out cute clothes for me. With little ones, I forget that I don’t usually get to shop for myself. What a great giveaway!

  76. I love getting new things that I would not pick out for myself. I can’t wait for my box to come at the end of May…it’s a bummer that there is such a wait lately but I love that its a great service!!!

  77. I love the ease of stitch fix and the high quality clothing. I also LOVE the style cards that come with each piece.

  78. I have not received a fix in while due to my budget but I loved the “presents” that awaited me when I opened the box. I always found something to purchase.

  79. I have read about Stitch Fix for a while now, but have not tried and would love to. The thought of someone else “shopping” for me sounds wonderful especially for unique pieces that I probably would not try myself. It would be good for me to step out of my box at this stage of life!

  80. I’ve been getting fixes since August and I love that I always have such great options in my closet to wear! The styling cards take the guesswork out of putting together outfits!

  81. I love the idea of having someone else look at your style and then put together things that they think you’ll love … maybe picking things you wouldn’t think of for yourself, but loving. Plus, not having to go to stores and trying on at home?! The best!!

  82. StitchFix sounds like “the perfect” answer to all those who work, have a family and do volunteer work. Would love one of the gifts cards to “give it a try” and then share all the results with my family and friends.

  83. I think the best part would be the surprise of not knowing what will be in your box each month :)

  84. I like that someone helps you with your style, makes outfit suggestions and it all comes straight to your house. It would be nice to change things up just a little bit while still staying true to my personal style preferences.

  85. Today, I went to the beach front with my children.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.

She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off
topic but I had to tell someone!

  86. We are currently stationed overseas (APO) and sometimes finding clothes in my size and style can be difficult. And of course, it’s always challenging to shop with young children at my side! ;) I love that fashionable, affordable pieces come right to me. Thanks!

  87. I love getting the “surprise” in each fix. I’m not much of a shopper, so I love that someone else does it for me!

  88. I have a really hard time shopping for myself. I would like to try Stitch Fix and a gift card would be great.

  89. I love the fact that Stitch Fix will take the work out of being fashionable! As a busy working mom there isn’t always time to shop at a store or even online! Stitch Fix=one stop shop for real!!

  91. I love getting my Stitch Fix every month because it always makes for a fun mail day, and it takes the inconvenience of going shopping away. It keeps me trendy, with little to no effort from me!

  92. I don’t get Stitch Fix, although I’ve considered it:)I just love the idea of not having to actually go shopping!

  93. Love that it expands my wardrobe beyond Loft, Ann Taylor, and Banana and encourages me to try more accessories!
