Outdoor Entertaining with a Firepit
Hey guys!
Well, this is my FINAL post and video with Wayfair in the six week series I participated in with them. It was such an awesome (and sometimes stressful) experience, but my last video was definitely the most fun to make! I have always wanted a fire pit, and so have my kiddos, so they were thrilled when they saw me setting up a little outdoor entertaining space for my video.
I am going to share some still pictures with you, and my video will be at the end of this post along with the links to the some of the products I used in the video. It would make my day if you watched my video. :) {It is only 1 minute and 41 minutes long.} They determine the success of these videos through how many views they get, so “view away!” and share with your friends. I am hoping to be able to continue to work with Wayfair in the future. These type of opportunities stretch me and challenge me to learn new things, and I love that!
THANK YOU!
I love spending as much time outdoors as possible in the fall, so I was so excited to set up this little gathering space in our backyard. I placed four adirondack chairs around a fire pit to create a cozy little spot beneath two old trees. I had some chalkboard wood slices that I had from my Christmas tablescape two years ago, and I used them to make signs. I thought it would be fun to have a sign say, “Get your cozy on here,” because that is what fall is to me….COZY!
I had some old black lanterns outside that were in rough condition, so I cleaned them up and spray painted them with some copper spray paint. Remember, copper is really on trend right now. :)
I also went inside my house and brought out a bunch of my throw pillows and blankets.
The orange and cream throw blanket was a new one, and I love it! I didn’t have a table to put our marshmallows and hot chocolate on, so I grabbed the wheel barrow right out of our driveway (that we had been using on the construction of our new garage, and used it as a beverage station. Isn’t it cute?!
And I was so excited when I found this cute ceramic coffee cups that resemble old tinware! They come in a ton of colors, but y’all know I am loving navy blue right now, so I went with the blue ones.
Just to make sure we had enough blankets and pillows for chilly nights, I added a large basket and filled it with some “extra snuggle gear.” {wink}
And of course, for the fall, be sure to use a lot of pumpkins and mums to make it more festive.
