Her First Halloween!
Y’all, Halloween was so much fun this year!!
I always have fun taking my boys trick or treating, but Jonathan and Luke are older and don’t dress up anymore. Adam and Eli still dress up and love trick or treating, but it doesn’t have the exact same “magic” as it did when they were smaller.
But this year…THE MAGIC WAS BACK! Big time!
Watching Sania Louise experience this rather odd tradition we have here in the states was quite a treat.
We got her costume a month ago at Marshalls. The boys, however, got theirs at Krogers the night before Halloween. Adam got an old man mask, and Eli got a blonde mullet wig. We cut the back off and he dressed up like Donald Trump. ha!
Sania Louise wore her costume from early that morning until bedtime, and I barely got it off. We visited daddy at the bank during the day…
Can you tell how wrapped her daddy is?! That man adores her like nothing I have ever seen!
Anyway, Sania Louise LOVED going door to door and getting candy. After every single house, she would run down to us, find the candy the homeowner had just given her, and we would all ooh and aah over it.
I took some videos on my phone and uploaded them for you to see. The first video of her at someone’s house trick or treating is my favorite. If you listen closely, you can hear her SCREAM after she got the candy. She did that so many times, I am sure the homeowners thought, “Wow! This kid loves candy!” :)
Love Love Love!!!!
I think she is particularly impressed with chocolate :) So adorable!
So fun! Aw~ laughing with you! She looking beautiful in blue~
Such fun!!!!! Enjoy every minute.
I watched the video a few times and every time it made me smile. She is so happy and excited. Thanks for sharing.

So sweet!! My “kids” are 27, 25 and 18. I so miss getting the costumes ready and the excitement of the night. Enjoy enjoy enjoy!!!
Oh I just can’t stand it!!! Her excitement is THEE best and I just cry every time I see her and cy together! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
So precious! I can’t wait to see her on Christmas. Of course she will learn about the real reason for the season, but the decorations and the gifts will blow Sania Louise’s mind. God bless!
Love, love, love!

Hi Shawn! Yes, she picked it out at Marshall’s and loved it. It was just a generic princess costume but she said it was “Elsa” from Frozen. :)
She is so cute. Im sure on Christmas morning i will hear Sania louise alway in Delaware. She will be that excited. Enjoy it ! Cuz teenage girls are a very interesting breed. 😉
Yep, I’m a little worried about the teenage years. hee.hee. She is already so dramatic, so I can’t imagine what she will be like once puberty comes a knockin’! Have a blessed day!
Reading your posts makes my day!
So adorable … I can tell she had so much fun!!!!! It amazes me how much she looks like the picture of your Mother. She was hand picked by heaven. I enjoyed the printable and have all the Administrative Assistants here on my job doing a #30daythankschallenge. I sent then an email with the printable attached. They love it.

YAY~ That makes me so happy! Thank you for sharing. :)
I am a middle school principal and started my day with your video. It brought tears to my eyes and made me stop and reflect on all the students we impact daily – children really are a blessing.
I can’t wait to see your posts on Christmas!
God bless you for all of your hard work for children! Yes, you are making an impact on them daily, and that is the part I miss most about teaching. I pray you have a blessed day today!! xoxo
Thank you Traci – I’m sure the profession lost a great teacher! I hope your day is a blessed one as well.
It’s what I miss most about teaching, the absolute joy in new experiences! Love this video. We gave out full size candy bars again this year. Mostly because I enjoy the children’s reactions. They’d run back to their parents showing off their haul. Priceless🎃
Your video was so cute! I was excited for her. How fun.
That is so sweet! She’s a pretty girl. 😊
Can you imagine how much fun ya’ll are going to have with CHRISTMAS?? So precious! I need to meet her soon!!
