Our Home is For Sale!

Well, if you are surprised at the title of this post, so I am.   haha!

I never thought I would be writing about post about our house being for sale, but here I am.  It’s been on the market for about a week, and I figured I should go ahead and announce it here on the blog (since y’all are my people.)

A few of my readers have discovered our house on Zillow.  :)

This is actually something we have been thinking about for a while, and we’ve decided that now is the time to do it.  Of course, this decision comes with all kinds of emotions, but we also have a peace about it.

If you live in central Kentucky and know someone who is looking for a new home, feel free to send them our way!

Our home sits on 5.49 acres and has a ton of privacy.  But at the same time, it is only 10 minutes outside of Lexington where there is plenty to do and see!  It’s the best of both worlds!

Most of my pictures on Zillow are from my blog home tours, so they have Christmas or fall decor in them. haha!

I didn’t feel like re-taking a bunch of  pictures of our home since I already have them on my blog, right?

Of course, I will keep you updated if our home actually sells.  You just never know…

Now I need to jump off here and do some cleaning!  I want to keep it clean for our showings!  #isthisreallyhappening?

Love you guys!

Traci

P.S.  If you want to see pictures and videos of our home the day we moved in, CLICK HERE.

This was our fireplace and front door when we bought it…

Our home is literally unrecognizable.  It looked nothing like it looks now.  We literally changed every inch of this ranch home.   The videos in that post are really small, but if you zoom in on your screen, you can see them better.  I still can’t believe we even bought this house!  haha!  But man, has it been fun renovating it into a Kentucky beauty!  :)

  1. Holy cow! My number one question is, where are y’all moving to? I know you aren’t moving to the little flip house you are working on since it’s only a two bedroom, one bath home. I suspect the kids have a lot of emotions to deal with regarding the house being up for sale. I wish y’all the best of luck with getting it sold and moved to your new home while school is out. God bless!

  2. I had a feeling you would be moving to Nashville for Jonathan’s music career as soon as school was out. Then you bought the flip house so I doubted my thoughts. Do tell what is on the horizon. I hope Cy’s eye is not the reason and that he is doing well. Wherever you land will be warm and inviting because you have such a loving family to live in it. Big hugs !!

  3. Where are y’all going???
I can’t believe after all the work you’ve done that you’re selling.

Will pray for the perfect buyers!!

  4. Well….you neglected to mention where you might be moving. I’ll be anxiously awaiting that news. Good luck with the selling of your house.

  5. Traci, you’ve got me thinking about uprooting our lives and moving to Kentucky. Of course my husband isn’t licensed in KY but that’s just a little thing, right? 😉 Seriously, good luck with your future plans. Can’t wait to see what God has in store.

  6. I hope you aren’t moving where you have neighbors on both sides, front and back. You will go stark raving mad. Been there done that. No peace in small neighborhood. But have fun looking around, then go back home and unpack.

  7. Oh my goodness. I’m shock. You just got your home like you like it. It’s beautiful. But whatever God has in mind just pray because his timing is perfect. He will show you exactly what u need snd when u need it. God is in control. Let me know where u go. Our oldest son live 20 minutes from downtown Franklin Tenn. toward Lepards Fort. In the country but there r neighbor. Very beautiful and in the country but have neighbors but not real close. Williamson county school. There are houses there for sale if that is where your going. ❤️Blessings to you and your family and I will be praying.

  8. Best of luck selling your beautiful home. Wish I lived in Kentucky…..maybe I’d buy it. Love your home!! Where are you moving?

  9. You are kidding me? How do you do that? Your house looks like a dream house after you guys got your hands on it. How’s do you sell it? I’d live your house but you’d have to live it furnished. :). You guys are so talented. I live to far away to buy it but know you will have no problem selling it. No fair to not tell us the plans ahead. Nashville? Blessings. :)

  10. I think my jaw just dropped to my feet! Prayers for perfect buyer, new home, and peace for all of you, particularly the children. Can’t begin to know the depth of mixed emotions all of you are working through.
