Our New Tennessee Home Tour!! {Notes From Home – Episode 1}

Well guys!

Today is the day that I get show you the inside of our Tennessee home!!

It’s a fixer upper for sure, and most of you are going to think we have lost our minds, but….

Well…we have.  haha!

No seriously.  We LOVE fixer uppers, and we are LOVING getting our hands on this one!

We are documenting this whole renovation process in a new online digital series called

Notes from Home!

This series will truly be a family affair!

Cy and the boys will be doing most of the renovating. Luke is going to be doing the filming and editing.  I will be doing the designing and decorating. Adam is doing the floor plans.  (He learned a home design software on the computer and is creating the floor plans and models like you see below!)  Jonathan will do the singing, and Eli and Sania will be the comic relief!  haha!

It’s going to be so fun, y’all!  And I can’t wait to share it with you!

Of course, we are going to be renovating the outside of our home, but for now, we have to focus on the interior.

Our home is a ranch with a MIL suite attached to the back.  Cy, Adam, Eli, Sania, and I will be in the main house, and Jonathan and Luke will be living together in the MIL suite.

The MIL suite has two separate entrances.  The one on the left is to a smaller room that we will be converting to Jonathan’s music studio.  The door to the right leads to the den/kitchen area.  There is also a large bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room in that suite.  Jonathan and Luke are going to LOVE living there!

I will not be renovating the MIL suite right now, which is why I didn’t include it in the home tour.  That will be for WAY down the road.  Right now, I am focusing on the main house.

There was a formal living and dining room to the right when you walked in the front door.  On the other side of the wall in that space was the kitchen and den.

Yes, you guys!!!!   GREEN everywhere!

AND it has a SUNKEN DEN!  WHAT?!  haha!

We have already knocked down walls and done a TON of work, and you won’t believe how different it already looks.  So be sure to follow along every week for updates!

Also, can I ask a huge favor?  I would be so honored if you would share this new series, or my blog, or my social channels (or all of the above,) with your friends and family?  I would love to invite as many people as possible to join our family on this journey, but I need your help getting more eyeballs on it. :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

So I have to tell you something funny about this video!  We filmed it immediately after we closed on the house.  We had our closing that morning, and then we drove over to our new home to film the video tour.   On the way there, I spilled my breakfast on my shirt.  :( I tried to wipe it off, but it left a stain.  I didn’t have anything to change into before we shot the video!  #ugh

So, I apologize for my sloppy shirt in the video.  I also apologize for saying “sunken-in den” many times. haha!!  (It’s only a sunken den.)  I may have also thrown a “Plywooded” in there too.  GEESH!  I’ve got to work on my words!  :)

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the tour!!  Be sure to subscribe to my youtube channel for weekly videos!

Love you guys!!!

xoxo

She has done well in Nashville and has written songs for some big country singers! She plays in a lot of venues in Nashville, too and all over Texas. She is the prettiest and sweetest gal!
