Notes from Home – Episode 10 “Prepping to Paint!”
Hey friends!
Well, I don’t know if I am more excited about Notes from Home being live today, or the fact that we are finally out of the 90’s here in Nashville!!
September was the driest month on record down here, and the temps stayed in the mid 90’s all. month. long. #ugh
Today, it is mid 80’s, and I swear I feel like I need throw on a scarf and some boots! haha!
Anyway, today’s episode of Notes from Home is LIVE, and we are talking all about prepping and painting the exterior of our home!
We are so excited to finally get the ball rolling on our exterior and can’t wait to see the transformation!

I have a brick home and people keep suggesting I paint it. I think painting brick is just a trend and someday all the home Reno programs are going to be discussing sand blasting the paint off brick. I’m curious why you want to paint it. Is it just a personal taste thing?

I love the videos each week. I enjoyed Cy doing a little dance in the end! Can’t wait to see the finished painting. I have been thinking about painting our fireplace but not sure yet. Maybe just white wash, what do you think? See you again next week.
