Our COVID Update & Safe Cleaning Supplies

Hey friends!

WHAT A WEEK!!!

So, the kids were out of school last Friday and Monday because of one of the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our county/state.

On Friday, the kiddos and I went to the “Batman building” in downtown Nashville where Cy works to eat lunch with him.

Then we went on Broadway and walked up and down the street.  It was such a beautiful day, and we had so much fun together.

Cy got a call not to come into work on Monday because someone who works in his building tested positive for COVID, and he was told to work from home the rest of the week.

The kiddos were supposed to go back to school on Tuesday until a parent of one of the students also tested positive for COVID.

And then Tuesday night, we were told they were going to be out the rest of the week, plus next week which was the kids’ original Spring Break week.

So we have been home together all week! And it looks like we will be together for quite a while longer.

Which means that I am not getting much blog work done right now.  I have the hardest time getting blog work done when the kids are home.

I’m trying not to watch too much news because it can feel overwhelming.  I know that we are all feeling a little weird about all that is going on in the world, but I refuse to live in fear.

It’s hard, but I am trying to focus more on God’s word than the news.

On Monday and Tuesday, I shared on my Instagram stories the products I use to keep my family well throughout the year.  My kids almost never go to the doctor.   Like, I can’t even remember the last time I took one of my kids because of illness?  I think it may have been Adam for an ear infection several years ago?

Anyway, I contribute it to my essential oil products, and I shared some of my favorite in the video of my instagram stories below.

What I love about my Thieves products is that they are safe and non-toxic.  It’s breaking my heart to see all of the harmful cleaning products that people are using in their homes and on their children.  There are so many toxic chemicals in cleaning supplies, so I love that I have my Thieves cleaner to use, which is just as effective but not bad for our health.

Anyway, in case you don’t follow me on Instagram, I wanted to share this information with you here on the blog.

If you are interested in getting your Thieves starter kit, you can click the button below to get started.   If you purchase a kit this month, I will send you a diffuser for FREE!  That way you can diffuse your Thieves and Stress Away oils that come in the kit!

If you have any questions at all, just let me know!

Y’all stay safe!!

Lots of love,

Traci

  1. I’ve a friend with family that lives in Europe and I appreciate the first-hand accounts i’m receiving. What Europe knew a couple of weeks ago, we’re just hearing about.

It is not the flu, is spread far more easily/efficiently than the flu, and we won’t know long-term results for a long time. As for Connecticut, we’re still low contagion, but it will increase because way too many younger people are flippant about it so common sense is a requirement in my home. Wash hands more than normal and stay away from crowded places. The places in Europe with “better results” are the ones who shut down schools (face it, kids are germ carriers extraordinaire on a good day!) and large events/travel. Again, common sense, not panic, should reign. God gave us common sense for a reason and told us to not be immobilized by fear so use the one and reject the other.
