Makeover Monday ~ Beautiful Bathroom Makeover!

Hello, friends!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  I got back Saturday night from a 3 day road trip with my sister, and I was exhausted.  Sunday morning Eli sang at church for the first time, and it was very sweet.  I will share more about both of those events soon!

Today, I have another wonderful makeover from Hutcherson Home Remodel for you!

This is a bathroom makeover that Cy did for a client last year.  It turned out beautiful!

The homeowners wanted to change everything in this bathroom to bring it up to date.  They wanted to replace the blue paint color on the wall with something more neutral.

They also wanted to get rid of the dark tile on the floor and the orange-y wood vanity.

The half wall between the vanity and the tub was to be removed and a freestanding tub installed in its place.

Removing that half wall would definitely open up the space!

A new countertop would be installed on the new vanity, along with new faucets, lighting, and mirrors.

The shower insert was to be removed, along with the old tile on the walls, and replaced with a custom tiled shower and barn door style glass shower doors.

Cy, Adam, and Eli spent several weeks on this bathroom makeover, and the results are amazing!…

They installed the floor tile in a herringbone pattern, and it really is a show-stopper right when you walk in the room.

The whole bathroom is so much lighter and brighter!

Removing the half wall made the room look larger and really gave a chance for the free standing tub to show off!

I love the new lighting and mirrors that the homeowner picked out.  The lighting ties in well with the faucets.

The countertop is Quartz in Calacatta Laza.

The paint color on the wall is SW’s Accessible Beige.

I really love the sliding barn door style shower doors the homeowner picked out from Lowe’s.  It comes in clear or frosted glass.

The same tile on the floor was used on the shower walls, and a herringbone tile was used on the shower floor and in the wall niche.

A matte black shower faucet was used in the shower as well.

The homeowners are thrilled with how it all turned out!  Check out these “before & afters” side by side…

If you have any questions, just let me know.  I tried to link to all the products I could find below.  There are also shoppable photo links through the post.

Have a blessed day!

xoxo, Traci

  1. At first I thought that I liked the wall between the vanity and the tub. But once I saw the picture of it after removal, I see how open it is. The new shower is also fantastic.

  2. Gorgeous! Wish we lived closer, I would hire Cy in second! I do have a couple questions. Where is the vanity from and are there certain brands that you prefer that are better than others? And what should I be looking for in terms of durability? For instance, I’m thinking solid wood and water resistant and staying away from particle board and engineered wood. Not looking to spend a small fortune but something mid range. Thanks in advance!

  3. Absolutely gorgeous! Cy and the boys are incredibly talented! The tile and the countertops are perfect. IF it were my bathroom, I’d eliminate the tub and have a larger shower and perhaps a small closet. 😂😂
