Our Pond House UPDATE!

Y’all, I am sooo embarrassed! I have really dropped the ball on showing you the little pond house we have been building on our property! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was going to write an update today of how we added a room to the back of the pond house, and then I realized that I had never really showed you the front room that we built! What? The last post I wrote about it was in April of last year, when I told you we were building a shed on our property. At that point, it looked like this….

It was originally going to be like a large shed were we stored our fishing equipment and such, but then Jonathan said, “I could live in this space.”😂. Which began the process of us turning it into a livable space.

We changed it from one double door in the front, to a single door with windows on each side to let more light in.

Then we added a little jut-out on the side for storage and electrical, and we hung these two lights from Lowe’s on each side of the front door.

These barn lights come in a pack of two for $39.98.

Then we painted the whole thing my fav color Ebony Fields by Valspar. It’s a great black/brown/gray color. 😂

I don’t have many pictures of what we did on the inside, but we did start a small kitchenette that we still have to finish. You can see it in the background of this instagram reel…click play to see it.

We’ve added another room to the back of the pond house, but I am going to save those pictures for another post. So stay tuned! It’s gonna be such a cute space when we are finished. ❤️
