Adam is Engaged!
You guys!!! Adam is engaged! !🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
My third son is the first to get engaged out of my four boys!
Adam proposed to Lucy on Sunday, 2-4-24. He and Lucy met last year at a church event and have been together ever since. Adam is her first boyfriend, and she is his first girlfriend. It’s precious.
They are so excited to begin life together and have set a wedding date for May 26th! Yep! Just a few months away. 😳
Lucy is so sweet and loves Jesus with all her heart. She has the kindest personality, giggles a lot, and is a great listener. I am so proud of Adam and Lucy’s relationship, and how they have honored God through it all. They are such a blessing to everyone around them!
It has been so special as a mom to watch Adam fall in love with Lucy. He is CRAZY about her! He would come home after every date with her and talk about her for hours. He would share with me all the things that made Lucy so special, and it would bring tears to my eyes. I knew pretty quickly that she was the one. I would tell Adam, “Every girl in the world deserves to be talked about like you talk about Lucy.” ❤️. And it’s true.
Lucy works full time as a cosmetologist, and of course, you know that Adam works full time with Cy at Hutcherson Home Remodel. Lucy currently lives in Franklin with her Mom, Dad, older brother, and younger sister.
Lucy’s family is very close and a lot like our family. Actually, Adam and Lucy are SO much alike. I told Adam that he is the male version of Lucy, and Lucy is the female version of Adam. 😂😂😂 I love that they are best friends first, because that is what marriage is all about!
So we have a lot of planning to do, y’all! May 26th will be here before we know it! I will be sharing some more details as it gets closer. It will be fun! 😊

What wonderful news, dear Traci, and I’m so happy for all of you! They are a darling couple. It’s been so much fun watching your kids grow up! Your comment about how they were the female/male version of each other made me smile, since that is the same for my new husband and me. Oh I’m so happy for you. They look like the sweetest couple. I started following you in 2015, and even read back in the archives about your family, as I wanted to know more about your mom etc. You have a wonderful family and so many exciting times ahead. Congratulations on both engagements. Please, please share with us as you prepare for the big days, especially what you will be wearing!! My son just got engaged and I am kind of worried about what to wear as Mother of the Groom. It will be an outdoor (weather permitting) August wedding. Love seeing what you and your sister share with us!!
