Today, we are going to talk about the wall treatments and vanity!

Let’s talk about the wall treatments first. ❤️

I love the look of beadboard on the walls. It just gives the space a warm and cozy feel, and is reminiscent of older homes. I knew I wanted the beadboard to come up right below the vanitiy sconces, so we decided to install the beadboard about 3/4 the way up the walls.

We used a 1×6 board for the baseboard, and topped the beadboard with a small flat piece of trim so it wouldn’t stick out too far and make it hard to install the vanity mirror. However, the seam between the beadboard and flat trim piece didn’t look good, so we had to cover it with another small piece of trim moulding.

Sorry for the blurry screenshots. We were in such a time crunch to finish this project, that I didn’t take a lot of photos of the process. 🤦🏻‍♀️. So I just have my instagram story videos to screenshot from, but hopefully you can see everything good enough.

We painted the beadboard and trim one of my new favorite paint colors, Gossamer Veil, by Sherwin Williams.

It was the perfect “greige” color (gray/beige) for this bathroom with green undertones. It tied in perfectly with this stunning peel and stick wallpaper from the Chris Loves Julia line at Lowe’s!

I LOVE this wallpaper, and it looks stunning in person!🤩. The black background ties in with the little pops of black in our floor and shower tile. And the green leaves tie in perfectly to the bedroom that is colordrenched in SW, Sage Green Light.

For vanity and mirror, I used everything that was in stock at Lowe’s. I loved the curves on the Allen + Roth mirror. It softened up the space and also fit with the vintage feel of the space. For the sconces, I wanted them to have fabric shades, and Lowe’s had the Allen + Roth gold sconces in stock, so I grabbed them. They were perfect! They can be plugged in an outlet, or hardwired. Of course, Cy hardwired the sconces in the wall.

For the vanity, our Lowe’s had this gorgeous Style Selections Merrill Desert Beige vanity in stock.

I got the 36″ vanity, but it does come in other sizes.

For the vanity top, I purchased the 37″ Allen + Roth Natural Carrara with a single undermount sink. They also had this in stock at my Lowe’s.

The one thing I did have to order online is this beautiful faucet by Kingston Brass American Classic. It was the perfect vintage vibe for our sink.

This faucet also comes in a brushed nickel finish.

I love how all the different golds of the mirror, lights, and faucet coordinate well together. I seriously could not be more happy with the way everything turned out!

It wasn’t my first plan, but I ended up painting the walls, ceiling, and closet door the same Gossamer Veil color. I really do love the color-drenched look in this space. I had Cy install a 1×4 piece of trim between the doorway and the closet so I could hang some towels there. I found the gold hooks at Target. And the landscape wall art above the hooks is from Hobby Lobby. (I got it at %50 off, so it was only $13!)

I created a Instagram reel of the before and after of this space, and you can check it out below…

One more thing…

I have a “Lowe’s Storefront” where I all my favorite Lowe’s finds saved, including all the products we used for our Pond House Bathroom!

You can check it out HERE, or click the image below!
