House Tour (Part Two)

I told you I would show you some pictures of the second house I toured while visiting my in-laws in Georgia.

But first, if you didn’t get a chance  to vote for my back patio makeover yet, I am shamelessly asking you to take about 30 seconds of your time to click on over to OneProjectCloser.com and vote for me!  :)

I would really love to win the $150 gift card to the home improvement store of my choice, plus I promise there will be a little “thank you” prize for my readers as well!

Click HERE to vote.  And a big fat hug to you all!

Now to the tour…

The second house my sweet MIL and I visited was called LINKS Greenhouse.

This house was supposed to be made very environmentally friendly.  (However, when we asked the hostess, she couldn’t really tell us why it was so “green”.  Go figure.  Time to hire a new hostess.)

Here are some of the pictures I took:

(I will only be commenting on my favorite parts of the house.)

The Exterior…

The Dining Room…

(Ladies, we could sooo make this painted wood mirror!  Any takers?)…

There was a beautiful grass cloth on the walls.

The Living Room…

The Kitchen…

Calling all DIYers!!! You could definitely make this stunning flooring!  It’s just square tiles surrounded by 4 inch wood planks.

The Landry/Gift Wrapping room…

The Home Office…

The Upstairs Outdoor Living Space…

The Downstairs Den…

(LOVE the dark wood on the steps!)

The Downstairs Outdoor Living Space…

Complete with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows!  See the beautiful lake between the trees?  My boys would love living here!

The Home Theater Room…

(This room is just too stinkin’ cool!)

Of course, I had to put my feet up and catch a little Top Gun action.  Oh yeah, baby!

I was loving the board and batten in the downstairs hallway.  Storing this idea away for future projects.  (wink.)

A Downstairs Bedroom…

My favorite downstairs bedroom…

The Hallway leading to the Master Bedroom…

This closet cracks me up!  It’s the size of my son’s bedroom!

And I had to take a picture of the beautifully manicured driveway…

Thank you for joining me on this tour!

Have a blessed day!

  1. What a beautiful home. But seriously, I would ruin that driveway in about a week. How would you back out of it so straight?

  2. Thank you so much for taking us with you on this tour! I have enjoyed every picture! The firepit is awesome and would love to re-do our closests with all those shelves! Thank you again!

P.S.(looking forward to seeing you in Oct at Relevant)

  3. The two outdoor livings spaces :-) are something I could really live with! For some reasons the garage doors appealed to me! Still trying to identify my style – HA! I think it must be woodsy-outdoorsy because loved the view down to the lake. Thanks for sharing, that is where we gain inspiration.

  4. It’s gorgeous!

    My two favorite things:
    1) The pleats in the laundry room window treatments. I love pleats.
    2) I forgot already. Um, what was it? I’m going to scroll up now…oh, right! The white painted risers on the stairs. I know that’s not unique to that house, but I’ve been thinking about doing it for a long time and I just love the way it looks!

  5. That is a BEAUTIFUL house! What a tour.

But how are tours of your house going? Do you guys have it listed with a realtor? Are there MLS photos?

I voted for you at One Project Closer! My heart swells with pride every time I see a photo of your back porch. I can’t even tell you how excited I was when you wrote about your back porch and gave me a shout-out–it made me so happy! But mostly I’m happy to see how great your porch looks. You deserve to win!

    Love ya!

  6. Wow! What great eye candy! I was really drawn to the laundry room pic because I am hoping to spruce mine up soon so that was some great inspiration! Thanks for sharing those with us and I hope all is going well with your own house being on the market!

  7. okay so who wouldn’t love to have a gift wrapping room!!! I adore the cosy armchair area in the main bedroom & I can totally see my Max skateboarding down that immaculate driveway – who actually has a driveway that neat???? love it, would likely mix elements from house 1 & house 2 if anyone is willing to invest in buying me a house that is big enough!!! Thanks Traci for the guided tours!

  8. Traci, Thanks for the tour…it is a gorgeous home. I have a good friend that lives on the lake at Reynolds Plantation and she also has a gorgeous home there. I love how the developers left so many trees and natural areas.
