Oh sweet Easter!

I loved this day as a child, and I love it still.

My mom loved this day too, and I can’t help but think of her throughout this Holy day!

Isn’t she just beautiful??  

If I close my eyes, I can hear her voice singing this beautiful song and smell the scent of our Easter corsages.

Thursday night, we went to our first Maundy Thursday at our church.  It was a beautiful service of remembrance of what Christ did for us on the cross.  We wrote a sin or burden that we had on a small piece of paper and then we each physically nailed it to a wooden cross on the stage.  The sound of the hammer hitting the nails gave me chills.  But it also made my heart swell with love for my Savior.  His act of love of the cross brought forgiveness for the sins of the world, mine included.  

He is my hope, my peace, my joy, my purpose, my EVERYTHING!

Above all today,  I hope you know how much HE TRULY LOVES YOU!!!
