Haven 2015
I can’t believe that Haven was over a month ago, and I am just now writing about it!! I guess that is evidence of how crazy busy I have been! I was in LA 5 days last week, and it has taken me all of Monday and Tuesday to just get back in the groove of things, and clean up the house, of course! {Boys! rrrrrrrgh.}
I appreciate all of the sweet comments you left on my post about my #1 struggle right now. I guess I am not the only one. :) It was super hard for me to be disciplined in LA, but I am doing great so far this week! I’m going to be sharing some of what I am doing in an upcoming post.
But for now, I just wanted to show you some pictures of Haven 2015! This was our fourth year of planning the Haven Conference, and for me, it was one of my favorite.

It has been so much fun planning Haven the past four years with these ladies. I have learned SO MUCH about putting a conference together, and believe me, it is a LOT of work! But totally worth it.
Rhoda and I got to the hotel before the rest of the team, and we snapped a pic out on the balcony of our hotel. It was a “little” windy up there!
The first night, we have an opening mixer for all of the attendees. It is so much fun to connect with new bloggers and reconnect with old friends.
My sweet, sweet sister spoke at Haven, and I LOVED having her there. She got there the day after I did, and man, did my world seem right when she showed up! Do you ever feel that way? When my big sis is around, life is good, and I know that she has always got my back. Plus she is fun and hilarious, and she makes everything better when she is in the room! I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!
So, the absolute best thing about Haven is hanging out with other bloggers! Hands down! It is the reason I went to my first blog conference, Blissdom, 6 years ago, and it is why I will always continue to attend other conferences. You cannot put a price tag on the friendships that are made at these conferences. You will learn a lot about blogging, but the connections…….THE BEST!

Home Depot was our Platinum sponsor again this year, and they were AMAZE-balls! They dropped off a little treat in the our rooms one day!
It was full of cute little goodies!
Home Depot set up beautiful spaces in our “living room” for all of the attendees to enjoy!
This is me trying to figure out how to use the selfie stick we got in our swag bag from Moen. I finally figured it out with Mandy in the bottom right hand corner. :)
I got to spend some sweet time talking to fellow mom-of-four-boys friend, Katie from Bower Power. She’s young enough to be my daughter, but I loved sharing “boy stories” with her. She is a very special little mom, and I am proud of her! (See, I even sound old enough to be her mom!)
And I LOVED seeing Marian {Miss Mustard Seed} again! She was on our original planning team for Haven 2012! She was one of my very first blog friends, and I have loved sharing our online lives together over the past 6 years!
I wish I had taken more pictures, but I was so busy with the conference and fellowshipping, that I forgot to take pictures!
But man, did I have a blast!!! It gets better every year, and I we are super excited about Haven 2016!! It’s going to be the best ever!! I hope I get to see you there!
