How to Style a Modern Farmhouse Bathroom
Hey friends!
Today we are going to talk a little about how to style a modern farmhouse bathroom.
We have learned the past three weeks that the modern farmhouse look usually consists of a lot of whites, grays, browns, and blacks. This holds true in modern farmhouse bathrooms as well.
In the picture below, you lots of grays and whites on the walls and floors with touches of the black (or oil rubbed bronze) throughout. And that little wooden stool adds the perfect farmhouse touch.
Modern Farmhouse Bathrooms love mixing the old with the new. I love how the wood door, bench, and vintage tub look again the brand new, more modern shower.
Adding bead board or board & batten to the walls also adds that farmhouse feel.
We added wood planked walls to our guest bathroom five years ago, and we have loved it ever since. We also brought in some brown to our gray and white farmhouse bathroom by building our own butcher block vanity.
Maybe you have a brand new bathroom in your own home, and you feel that you cannot make any changes to give it a farmhouse look? Wrong. Adding a vintage piece of furniture, or a vintage rug or wall print, will definitely give your new bathroom a farmhouse feel.
If you want to do a little more to your bathroom to give it a farmhouse feel, maybe you can install some new barn lights or turn a dresser into a vanity like the bathroom below.
Jenna Sue, from Jenna Sue Design, added a wood ladder behind her toilet for extra storage and used metal baskets to hold extra towels and toiletries. Wire baskets are also a great item to decorate with when going for the farmhouse look.
As for the floors, you can never go wrong with wood, but you can also use vintage style tiles to get a farmhouse look.
Those are just some of my ideas to get a modern farmhouse look in your bathroom. I hope you enjoyed them!

Beautiful bathrooms…have you seen this mirror idea?
I love it. It would even be great in a hallway or bedroom.

Such great ideas! I love the touch of black and how the wood tones warm up the space.
Thanks for sharing! In the first photo there were these really cool faucet hooks. Would you know where to source them?
