Healthy Dark Chocolate Cake & Fudge Frosting {Meet Abigail!}

Hey sweet friends!

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you have had a good start to your week.  The kids had “snow days” on Friday and Monday, so it was a looooong weekend for me!  They finally went back to school today, and can I just say that I was doing the “happy dance?!”

My sister and I met for lunch today, and we made plans for an online essential oils class that we are teaching on Thursday.  (You can read more about it at the end of this post.). I love when I get to spend time with her. :)

Another person I love hanging out with is my friend, “Sweet Abigail.”  Yep.  That’s what I call her.  That is what her contact information says in my phone.  That’s what my kids call her…“Mom, is Sweet Abigail coming over tonight?”

There is no other way to describe her but “sweet.”  She oozes sweetness.  Can’t ya just see it in this picture?

Abigail wears many hats, and one of them is “blogger.”  She has a blog called Life by Abigail, which is a lifestyle blog that focuses on healthy eating and organization.  (Two things I need desperately in my life!)

But what I love about her healthy recipes is that she shares ones for those of us with sweet tooth.  Abigail is gluten intolerant, so most of her recipes are gluten free.  I want to get gluten out of my diet as much as possible, so imagine my delight when I saw this recipe from her blog…(click the link below for the full recipe.)

HEALTHY DARK CHOCOLATE CAKE & FUDGE FROSTING

What the what?!  Healthy and Chocolate?….YES, Please!

Abigail is an amazing cook and all of her recipes are not only healthy, but delicious!  That’s why I asked her to be a contributor on my blog.  And thankfully she said YES!  whew!

As you can tell, I have been talking a lot more about health and wellness on my blog because I feel like it is something we all need, right?  Having Abigail share some of her healthy recipes with us each month is going to be the bomb dot com!

As a side note, Abigail also shares Young Living essential oils, so we are having fun working together on that as well.  We are teaching some classes together in the future, and sharing lots of oily goodness.  (I haven’t ever shared anything about the “business” side of sharing Young Living oils, but if you ever would like more information about it, just let me know!  It’s an amazing opportunity!)

Speaking of oils….

My sister and I are teaching a FREE online class this coming Thursday night about using essential oils to stay healthy this winter.

If you would like to join us, just click the button below and save your spot.  We will send you the invite via email on Thursday.

That’s it for now!

Talk to you again real soon!

xoxo
