Beneath My Heart

Installing the Cabinet Doors in our Butler’s Pantry {I LOVE THEM!}

DIY projects· MAKEOVERS· room makeovers

8 May

Hey there, friends!

I’m excited to share our new cabinet doors in our butler’s pantry with you!  We partnered with CabinetNow.Com for this project.

If you remember from an earlier post, Cy was building the cabinet boxes for our butler’s pantry, and we wanted to have some beautiful shaker-style doors to go on the front.

CabinetNow has literally every style door you could possibly want, and they come in many different types of wood finishes.  We simply measured all of the door openings and sent the sizes to CabinetNow, and within two weeks, they were delivered to our door.

Cy knows more about wood than I do, and he was extremely impressed with the quality of these doors!  He said they were extremely well made.

All I know is that they smelled delicious and looked beautiful, and were exactly what I wanted!!  :)

 ]

Cy used soft-close hinges from Lowe’s for the cabinet doors.

I am so excited about all of the storage that I will have in this small space.  I told Cy that it looks like the cabinets should have always been here!

My son, Luke, videoed the whole process and did a GREAT job editing the video below.

You can see the whole process in the video below, and be sure to watch to the end to witness my husband’s amazing vocal skillz.  :)

We have painted the doors black and will be installing the floor and counter top this week, so the reveal of the whole space should be coming soon!  yay!!

Have a blessed day!

Traci

    Cy can go on the road soon!! lol I love the cabinets, that man can build anything and make it look easy! We are so fortunate to have our hubs be able to fix anything, although mine is going downhill fast and can no longer do what he used to do and I surely do miss that!

    Traci, I heard you on 99.1 this week giving your tribute to your sweet mother. Brought back so many wonderful memories I have of her and the good times we shared together in home makers and at church. Thanks for sharing! Have a wonderful Mother’s Day.

    My husband and I have followed you since Cy put a farmhouse sink with butcher block countertops in. A few years now! We know you bought your farmhouse sink at Signature hardware, as did we. We also bought our butcher block countertops at IKEA, as we did!. We moved from Texas to redo another kitchen in New Mexico. The trouble is, we cannot remember where you bought your cabinet pulls/,knobs.
    I pray your new home is finished soon!
    Take care and be safe, God bless you and your family.
