NEW Episode of Notes from Home!

Happy Friday, friends!  I hope you have had a good week.

Before I write another word, I have to say a HUGE thank you for all of the sweet comments that you left on my last post.

I started writing that post last weekend, but kept stopping and even considered not publishing it.  I thought it was maybe just something God was teaching me that I needed to keep to myself.  But I’m so glad I hit publish.  It seems that many of you have felt the same things I have, and I realize that we have to all stick together and encourage each other.

Thank you for being such an encouragement to me!

As for an update, every morning this week, I got in my car and went out to spend time with Jesus.  Sometimes I went to the Chick-fil-a parking lot, and sometimes I would go to Starbucks.  But every time, I was able to focus my mind and heart on what matters most, and I was able to be more prepared for my days.

And the Best thing was…He met me there every morning.  He’s so faithful like that.

Now it’s time for our latest episode of Notes from Home!

We had so much fun taking the deck off our house a couple of weekends ago!  Luke filmed it all, and he did a great job putting all the video footage together to some fun music.  We also added a few clips of what we have done in our hallway bathroom renovation.

I am sooooooo thankful to have these family memories documented in such a way.  I pray that the Lord allows me to live to be an old gray haired grandma, sitting around watching these videos with my grandchildren, and hopefully great grandchildren!  Wouldn’t that be glorious?!  And you better believe I will have tears in my eyes as I watch!

I hope you enjoy this week’s episode!

Have a blessed weekend!

xoxo

  1. As always, I enjoy your videos. You are leaving a great legacy with your kids…not only the skills you are teaching them but the pulling together and camaraderie. I am eager to see the shed video since we are building one, too!

  2. Did you know your family is on a Barbra Streisand video with the sign you made thanking the corona virus workers. She is singing Walk On and your family is at the end of video. I saw it on YouTube.
