Painted Green Walls Inspiration!

Happy March!

Y’all!  Spring is here!  The temperatures are getting warmer, and the grass is getting greener!  We were in Kentucky last week for Spring Break, and we came back last night.  All of the trees and flowers are budding, and Jonathan mowed our grass….I love this time of year because it is filled with so much NEWNESS and HOPE!

When I think of a color that goes with March, it’s definitely the color GREEN.  (I’m sure St. Patrick’s Day has something to do with that too! haha!)

I’ve got green on the brain because I have been considering painting the wall above the boys’ board and batten green and have been looking at a ton of inspiration pics on Pinterest!   Remember this photo below from a previous post?….

I thought I would share some of them with you today!

Here are some beautiful photos of GREEN IN THE BEDROOM…

What do you think?  Do you like green on the walls?

If I don’t paint the boys’ walls green, I may go with grasscloth?  Still deciding…

I have some updates to show you on our Wilmore House in Kentucky that I will share later this week!  Yay! :)

Until then, I hope you have a blessed week!!

Remember… you are loved by God!

xoxo

  1. I love all the green and think it would look great in the boy’s room. I enjoyed looking at all the pictures also.

  2. I have had dark green in my bedroom (with lots of white and four windows) for a couple of years and love it! I’ve also had a similar green in my living room for about twenty years and have no desire to change it.

  3. Beautiful song. Thanks for sharing. As for green walls I have a guest bedroom painted green with pine beds etc. …… it’s really nice. I think you should do it. I’m glad you posted. I like reading Cyndi and your blog and hear all about your beautiful families and see fashion and DYI house stuff. Have a good day.

  4. I have always loved green. Funny to see it “back in style” after the last few years of white and gray, but I think that’s a nod to the boho and mid-century we’re seeing everywhere.
Exciting see what you decide to do.

  5. I’m loving all the green lately! So nice to see color coming back in to home decor. But I also love grass cloth! Either way you can’t go wrong. Paint is less expensive and less labor intensive and can be easily changed if you guys decide to sell in the next few years. But grass cloth is timeless too. Whichever you choose, you can’t go wrong! Maybe green grasscloth?😁 Glad to see you back blogging!

  6. Wow! What beautiful rooms. I do like green but never thought about those dark shades. Thanks for inspiration! Can’t wait to see your newest project.

  7. I love all of the examples. I think the green is a perfect choice for the boys room. Green is supposed to be very popular this year. I love catching your posts and videos.
