Last Minute Memorial Day Fun Ideas
This weekend, we are headed to Kentucky for Memorial Day to see family and friends, and I cannot wait!
I am very grateful for this holiday and the chance to remind myself and my children of the men and women who have sacrificed it ALL for our freedom. Our freedom is very precious and now more than ever needs to be celebrated and protected.
I believe we may be going to my sister’s house on Memorial Day. She has a pool, so I know my kids will want to spend some time there! Maybe she should buy that large inflatable duck below?! haha!

I am definitely going to check out the patriotic top since we always have a big neighborhood fireworks show at our lake. Due to the extreme heat, Larry’s side effects from the two chemo’s, and my left foot being in a boot, we do not have any plans for the holiday weekend. We will go to our neighborhood bonfire Saturday night. I hope y’all have a very safe and fun time in KY. And I agree, that we need to remember why we celebrate Memorial Day.
