Beneath My Heart

What I’m Lovin’ Wednesday

FAITH & FAMILY· Uncategorized

15 Aug

Today, I am lovin’ that my boys are going back to school. Smile

boys 004

It’s bittersweet, ya know.  We’ve had some good times together this summer, and looking at this picture makes me want to cry.  They are such good sports to put up with their mama!  I don’t know what I would do without these boys.  They make everything I do soooo much more fun and meaningful!  I get sentimental thinking about how much I’m gonna miss them, but excited about having some extra time to get things done around the house. I am blessed that my boys go to wonderful schools and have wonderful teachers.  They are very excited about going back to school and seeing all their friends.

I’m loving that fall is almost here.  It’s my favorite season.  I cannot wait for cooler temps, pumpkins, kettle corn, fall festivals, football, and more!

I made this crate last fall about Autumn Blessings.

Speaking of fall…I’m lovin’ my favorite candle in the world! It’s called Cinnamon Cider by Aromatique.

My sister and I have bought this same candle every year for at least 15 years.  Seriously.  It is the essence of “fall”.  And it has the strange power to make your house feel clean when it is lit!

I’m lovin’ this hand soap.

It Ms. Meyer’s liquid hand soap in Lavender.

It was a splurge for me at almost $4 a bottle, but I love how it smells and feels.  It’s my new favorite soap.

I’m lovin’ knowing that this sweet little girl is laying her sweet little head in her new bed each night.  I’ve been praying for her sweet family.

I’m lovin’ this song.  Whenever it comes on KLOVE, I crank up the volume and sing at the top of my lungs.  So do the boys. Winking smile

And I am lovin’ this promise…

What are you lovin’ today?

I am Lovin’ my favorite candle in the scent of Hazelnut Cream Coffee, burning on my desk while I am blogging. I also have one burning in my kitchen by my sink. I am Lovin’ that we have been blessed with much needed rain and that we have more tolerable temperatures to come in the next day or so. It’s all Good!

I broke out a new candle on Monday. It’s a bit early for a fall/wintry scent, but I just couldn’t resist. It’s called Christmas Cabin & is quite divine. I am loving that it’s almost time to decorate for fall. Blessings~

    Beautiful verse…yes!

I love Ms. Meyer’s soaps too!! My daughter got me four different scents this past Spring…and I love them…Drug Emporium here carries them…needless to say, I will make sure we are never without it now!

I always cried when school started…I know…silly…but I loved it when the kids were home…they are now 38, 33, 29, 21. School starts here the 27th…my daughter officially started back today (she teaches here at LISD)…so I am back to babysitting the granddaughters while she is at school!

I am lovin’ my laptop that my husband gave me for our 40th anniversary this past May! My very own computer! He truly surprised me! He is so wonderful!

    I am blessed.

I started buying “Cinnamon Cider ” in 1997…both candle & potpourri…harder to find in the mid-west. Been my fave ever since!! In the spring, I bring out “Sorbet”. Yummmm…

I am loving the sunshine and warmer weather, the webbing between my toes has disappeared for the season… I am still a weenie though, its almost too hot and I did not buy the box fans I say I am going to buy every year, and we don’t have A/C… For the 3 weeks in August it gets above 80…There are no fans to be found…not loving that… But so greatful the mall, grocery store, and Library has a/c…

Wow! No AC?! We did without it for about 4 weeks this summer, and it was so difficult. Of course, our temps got up to 100 degrees here. Whew!
      Enjoy your nice weather. :)

Wishing I lived back east or up north again. Here in Louisiana
It’s still in the nineties. Even though it doesn’t feel like fall,
I still plan to decorate for it in the next couple of weeks.
I too rock out to that song as well. It has a special place in my
heart. Our pastors son went home to be with the Lord in February.
This song played on KLOVE in the days after his death. It reminded me
To not hold on too much to things in this world because it’s notmy
home. It also reminds me of their son who lived his life knowing
this wasn’t his home ; living for the Lord.

I am so sorry to hear about your pastor’s son. That makes my heart hurt. I can’t help but think of my sweet mom when I hear that song too. Mom is in her real home, and I cannot wait to join her there. I am so glad this world is not my forever home.
      Blessings,

I love Mrs. Meyer’s products! I’m in love with the Geranium scent. I found a great recipe online to make liquid handsoap (to refill bottles) and I made a gallon sented with the Geranium. E-mail me if you’d like the recipe (waters7989atyahoodotcom)! I made it in January and am just finishing it up. Have my co-worker hooked on it now! A whole lot cheaper than buying brandname refills.

Traci, have loved “Cinnamon Cider” approx. the past five years! Love the fragrance and got the diffuser last season. I think I have declared it as my favorite over the years. Also love the song you mentioned, “Where I Belong”, in addition to so many! Love KLOVE too! I haven’t tried the hand soap yet, but have thought about it so many times. Am enjoying your house projects…I am sure it is a lot of work! Thanks for sharing and take care.

I’m loving this week and the time I get to spend with my boys before they go to school.
We take our oldest to PSU for the start of his college career. So proud of him. He was awarded an NROTC scholarship and committed to giving four years of his life to the Marines once he graduates. Our youngest my sweet baby will be going to eighth grade.
I’m loving the sound of their laughter as they spend every waking moment together.
I’m loving my wonderful husband who works so hard so we have everything we need and then some.
I’m loving the end of the season peaches from the local farmers market.
    I’m loving life.

I get my candle at our Macy’s in the mall. That’s the only place I have found it, but I’m sure it’s sold other places.
