Brimstead Kitchen Makeover REVEAL!
Hello, friends!
I’m sorry I’ve been a little MIA. We have been working full-time on renovating the RV over on our property, packing up our house and moving stuff over to our storage building, and just trying to handle all of the logistics of moving! We have to be out of our house in about 3 weeks! #yikes #crazytown
You can follow the daily madness over on my instagram stories HERE.
Today, I wanted to finally show you the REVEAL of our Brimstead Kitchen Makeover! Again, this is a makeover that my husband completed with his new business, Hutcherson Home Remodel.
(I will source as many of the products as I can at the bottom of the post.)
If you missed the first two posts about this makeover, you can find them HERE and HERE.
Now, let’s look back at the “before” of this kitchen makeover…
And here is what it looks like NOW!!….
We (and the homeowners,) LOVE how this makeover turned out!
There is a large island in the middle that provides extra seating (although the homeowner had not purchased stools for the island when I took these pictures.)
The pendant lights are one of my favorite features of the kitchen. The texture brings warmth to the space and ties in well with the oven hood.
The homeowner showed Cy a picture of the type of range hood she wanted, and he custom built one for her that looked exactly like her picture. I LOVE how it turned out!
The Calacatta Laza Quartz looks beautiful on the island and countertops.
The homeowner fell in love with and ordered several ZLINE products, one of which is this beautiful faucet…
She also bought the matching pot filler from ZLINE as well. (links at end of post.)
The faucets match the beautiful gold knobs and accents on the ZLINE range…
Isn’t it gorgeous?! I had not heard of ZLINE before this makeover, but it has great reviews on Lowe’s and Home Depot websites. It’s a little higher end brand, but the best thing about it is that it is IN STOCK! We were shock how quickly she was able to get them. Most appliances take MONTHS to get, but ZLINE arrived within a week or two. That’s amazing!
Remember what the oven wall looked like before?…
I am so glad that we decided to get rid of the pantry and add new custom cabinetry around the refrigerator. It’s one of the best decisions we made in this design. We were able to move the oven and refrigerator more to the right to create more countertop space in the process.
We also added extra pantry cabinets on the other side of the kitchen as well, which gave the homeowner more storage and balanced out the design.
The herringbone backsplash is from Lowe’s, and is absolutely gorgeous! Herringbone tile is one of the “musts” the homeowner wanted in her new kitchen design.
The was a fun makeover to do, and we love how it all came together so well. Best of all, the homeowners love it!
I have added links to all of the products below.
Let me know if you have any questions about this makeover in the comments.
Have a great weekend, friends!
xoxo, Traci

Oh I love that! What brand and color of white paint did you use? Do you have a favorite? I’m beginning to pick up samples for my kitchen cabinets.
Thank
Two of the things that really make a difference for me are the lighter backsplash and cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling. I love this kitchen!
Absolutely gorgeous ! Cy and the boys did a fantastic job.
Beautiful, but curious about the microwave. Did they eliminate it?
